Castleknock Marina Development Association was set up in '05 to complete the development of Marina Facilities at the 12th Lock. This area is owed by Waterways Ireland who fully endorses the proposal. This will be a public amenity and open for all to use. We also have B.E.S Fund approved by Bord Failte to raise funds and if you invest in the fund you can expect a refund of 30% from the tax man. It must be noted that the Marina is a "public amenity" so the fund is not expected to make any profit or return any funds which are invested.
